Our beautiful, two-story second home is located just a two minute walk from one of the East Coast's most beautiful beaches ? Litchfield Beach, South Carolina. The house has a deck with great views of the ocean on the upper level and a screened porch on the first level, which is great for evening meals and listening to the sound of the ocean. The 4 bedrooms all open onto decks and 3.5 baths provide plenty of room for up to 13 people. The master bedroom has a king bed and a Jacuzzi tub in the spacious bathroom, plus a door that opens onto the upper deck. There is central heat/air, cable TV, high speed internet, washer/dryer, microwave and ceiling fans. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room table seats 13. The comfortable living room opens onto the screened porch. Of course, with the great views and the beach, you may spend more time outside the house than inside!! And to help you enjoy the beach, we have bikes, kayaks, beach chairs and beach umbrellas available for you to use.

Litchfield Beach, SC is an absolutely beautiful area with many varied types of activities available. You'll be 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach with its night life and live entertainment -- http://www.visitmyrtlebeach.com And there are enough golf courses very close by to keep you playing for a long time if that is of interest to you. Litchfield Beach is also one hour north of Charleston, SC, with its charm, history and fabulous restaurants -- http://www.charlestoncvb.com But perhaps the best news about the location is the 2 minute walk to the beach. There you can swim, lay in the sun, ride bikes, surf, ride kayaks or sail boats, and fish. Within easy biking or driving distance are the Pawleys Island Hammock Shops and many excellent restaurants. Alan is professor of international business at the University of Baltimore, Maryland. Ruth Anne is a management consultant and she travels often for her job. They have three grown daughters and they enjoy biking, kayaking, swimming, and just relaxing when at the beach. Because this is our second home, a non-simultaneous exchange is easy for us. Best time for us to travel is January or June through August. We will certainly look after your home just as we do our own, and we know you will just love our home and its location.
