Description of our house
[
![]() ]
Our home is an old farmhouse that has been made into a family home. There are four comfortable bedrooms in the house - one ensuite, three with double beds and one with twin beds. Downstairs is a big family kitchen/dining room with an Aga and large glass doors onto the garden. There is a very comfortable lounge and a playroom full of toys. There is also a small study, utility room & downstairs loo. Outside in the garden is a converted barn which we use as a big playroom. There are sofas, a wood burning stove and a table tennis table. If you are a large party young people can sleep in this room - there are sofas/beds but no curtains. There is also a further bedroom outside with a double bed. The house is very child friendly and comfortable. Outside it is just great for kids with the shallow river crossed by the footbridge, the tennis court, the trampoline and just lots of space. More than 10 people can stay here if you don't mind sleeping in the garden room.

Our house is in a very rural and beautiful location within the North York Moors National Park. You will see green hills out of every window. It has no immediate neighbours and is surrounded by gardens and 15 acres of our own land. At the bottom of the garden there is a tennis court and shallow river with a footbridge to another wilder garden. If you like the countryside, birds and wildlife it is really a magical place. Something about ourselves
