Description of our house

Our home is a beautiful house at 7 km from the Mediterranean sea, in one of the best residential areas of Valencia, in a village called Godella. It was built in 2004. It is provided with barbecue, little swimming pool (in a paved space), and a verandah with eating and relaxing areas, as much as place for potted plants, buganvilias, and so on. You can see the sea from the verandah. Bedrooms (three, and two bathrooms) are on the second floor. There is also a lofty top floor who is used as an office. The children have plenty of space to play and the house is sunny and comfortable. There is internet (high speed), conditioned air in the bedrooms, and the landline calls are free.You have a lot of books in english. All modern appliances in the kitchen and laundry. We leave our car, and we expect to exchange it, too.

Godella is a typical village close to Valencia, which is a beautiful old city, with a lot of sightseeing to do, historical and modern arquitecture. There are so many places to go with children: aquarium "oceanographic" (biggest in Europe), bioparc (newest zoo in Europe), Terra mitica (thematic park, great fun), science museum (interactive), Gulliver's park, port area... I am a tax law university teacher, and my husband is a high school one. We have 2 girls: Laura (19) and Diana (11). They are used to travel and are very good mannered, you can be at your ease, they will be careful in your house. It is not our first exchange, so they know it is important to be liable. We like travelling a lot, and knowing new places and cultures. Laura likes the water activities, like sailing, kayaking, etc and Diana loves making new friends. We are looking for a house where feeling at home while exploring new surroundings and relaxing a bit, in a place where the girls could socialize and have some fun. For the summer, we like places near water: a river, a lake, or the beach.
