My home is comfortable, clean, spacious and very sunny even in winter; it's so cool with a fire in the fireplace! It's situated in a big park with old trees, with a view on the little garden, very, very calm and peacefull; Birds, squirrels and cicadas wake up in summer!sunny in winter too! this is an artistic place, famous around the world for its special glassmaking (7 family's factories), antique potery (antiques "jarres"), narrows streets, national museum, restaurants (high french gastronomy), coffee, shopping....Very close to the beach, to the aquatic park "Marineland", so beautiful CORSICA island in 2 hours with the NGV Navy, close to the mountain (MERCANTOUR) (SOUTH ALPES), situated between the cities of Antibes (famous jazz summer festival, Picasso museum), Nice (international airport) and Cannes ( international cinema festival), less 1 hour to Italy (SAN REMO); A lot of things to do: culturel: museum, gallery, gastronomy, famous old villages to visit; sport: golf, horsing, swimming, hiking, skying.... I'm a 65 years woman; I have 3 children, adults now! they live in LYON, twins girls and my son has a little girl 4 years;
My husband was a pharmacist; he is dead now; I was a french teacher (training for student at the university), I'm retired for a long time now;
I lived many years in French West Indies (Caraïbes Sea) and in French Polynesia.
I'm alone and I use to travel (alone or with friends) around the world very often for myself, but I also work like a volunteer 2 or 3 months a year in a french ONG for teaching to teachers eveywhere....West Africa, Haïti, Middle East.... I already spent many times a few days in NYC, one time in container cargo through the Atlantic Ocean, but now, I have time to stay longer (several weeks) to discover the city, meet people and perfect my English of course.
