Queenstown is the scenic capital of southern New Zealand. Where I am situated is up on a hill looking out over Lake Wakatipu. 5 mins from the Airport. Local shopping in also within 5 mins at Remarkables Park Frankton. Queenstown township is 6km away. Wanaka over the crown range 3/4 hour drive. Cromwell 40 mins through the Kawarau gorge It is a beautiful area to explore. History as we know it here is gold mining,Arrowtown the local old gold town. Horse riding, water sports, bungey jumping and lots of great wineries all with 20 mins drive. Jet boating down the rivers Shotover and Kawerau. Flights/buses to Milford sound.Summer nov-March .
