Something about ourselves
Our crew is made up of a hospital director (Mom), a global technology and communications executive (Dad), and two great teens (girl who's 18 and boy who's 17). We enjoy all that our area has to offer; from the cultural experiences of Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal; to the wilderness experiences of Northern Ontario. As a family we love to ski or snowboard (as competitors, coaches and instructors), golf, sail, and canoe. We also own a summer home in Muskoka, Ontario and the teens will be near there for camp during the summer of 2012. Mom and Dad love Home Exchanges as a way of refreshing and relaxing on our own while our kids are at summer camp. Our exchanges in Europe have been fantastic experiences for us and the European families too. We love to explore cities and the country-side, sea-side or mountain tops. Our ideal day never finishes as it was planned when we started out, instead being captivated by a new and unexpected discovery along the way. Sometimes that captivation comes in the form of a good book, a glass of vintage wine, and a cozy place to curl up for a nap, which is why the notion of home exchange appeals to us so much. We are not big on crowds, planned mealtimes, and beaches (resorts) or cramped spaces, limited freedom, and check-out times (hotels). We look forward to possibly sharing and respecting your home, wherever it might be.
