The Currumbin Valley is 20km long and has a National Park at its end with water falls and ponds to dip in and swim in. There is also a Duck Pond as well as a picnic area with swimming hole where young people jump into from the cliff face. The Valley consists of upmarket acreage homes and is only a 10 minute drive to Currumbin Beach. It is also close to other Gold Coast beaches as well as the New South Wales border at Coolangatta/Tween Heads only 20minutes drive. The Gold Coast is famous for its world class beaches with world reknowned surf competitions held frequently. The Hinterland consists of several highlands such as Beechmont, Tamborine Mtn and Springbrook in that order of height.Springbrook is so high it has its own climate and Mt Tamborine is mostly 4-5'C cooler than the coast.
