The area where we live in Budapest is very quiet and well maintained, with nice streets and parks. It is not far from the airport of Budapest, however you can not hear any noise. You can find shops, pharmacies, children's playgrounds, restaurants near by. Our neighbours are very nice and quiet people.
It is very easy to reach the city centre, by direct train, or bus and subway. Budapest is a beautiful city, which is full of historical monuments. We have a lot of spas here from Turkish spas from the 15th century to huge aqua parks. There is a small, but beautiful lake with a charming restaurant within 15 km.
Lake Balaton is the main holiday area of Hungary. you can swim in the lake in the summer, or ice skate in wintertime. This is a beautiful region with a lot of vine cellars, monuments, spas, relaxing places. Our cottage is in a quiet village, however you can find lots of shops, restaurants, pharmacy, etc. over there. Summertime there are several events, festivals and young people can find an active nightlife.

We are Eniko, Miklos and two girls - 13 and 12 years old. We are very open minded and we love travelling together, knowing new countries, culture, etc. We are both professionals - Miklos is traffic engineer and I am architect. We like mountains, sea, hiking, swimming, resting, playing and singing.
Last year we arranged our first swap, and we enjoyed it very much! So we would like to go on finding other partners to swap...
