Description of our house

Our home is in the centre of the capital, located on the Gellért Hill in a former villa. It is comfortable, clean and spacious, with 4 bedrooms, a unique living room (its decoration dates back to the beginning of the last century), 1 bathroom + 1 separated toilet, wardrobe and a large kitchen. The big terrace overlooks a large garden where there is place enough for children to play or to make a barbecue party. Here you can enjoy some nice views of Budapest while having a morning breakfast or a romantic dinner.

Our home is located in a central district with villas and big gardens but it does not mean that it is far from city life. It is very good communicated, only 5 minutes walk down or 2 minutes drive to restaurants, shops, many trams and buses. Public transportation is good enough to get everywhere in the city, often even faster than by car. It is an ideal base for exploring the city and the surroundings, still offers a peaceful, quiet background for relaxation. Something about ourselves

My husband, Géza is a journalist and I, Kata a teacher, we both are 44. We have two sons (12 and 6) and a daughter (9). We are interested in exploring different cultures although it is now with 3 children a bit more difficult. We hope that due to this form of travelling we can get away easier and our children can explore the world. We swapped home with more families and all of these holidays were really an outstanding experience for us.
