We moved to a house-boat in Aberdeen in December 2012, the south side of Hong Kong Island. The boat offers all amenities an apartment has to offer, e.g. WiFi, Internet, broadband TV, open kitchen with double door fridge, dishwasher, oven, etc . . . any conveniences you are used to from an apartment. Main bedroom (king-size bed) with en-suite, guest room (queen-size bed) with en-suite and in addition we have two small rooms each with bunk beds. Air-cons in all rooms. Open deck with Jacuzzi and gas BBQ. The boat is only to live-in, not suitable to go out to the sea. We have to take a sampan (watertaxi) to get onto our boat. I will post our main bedroom picture soon . . .

The Aberdeen Boat Club is walking distance to the Hong Kong Ocean Park, south side of Hong Kong Island with buses to the MTR station (Underground/subway). From a tourist point of view Aberdeen is a great location with main attractions easy to reach. Hong Kong has a lot to offer: Big Buddha on Lantau Island, Peak, buzzing city center with shopping, shopping, shopping as well as quiet beaches, Sai Kung area with clear and clean water, lots of outlaying islands easily reachable with ferries, different kind of street markets, Disneyland, Ocean Park etc. Have a look at http://www.discoverhongkong.com Something about ourselves

We are Sabine and Thiemo and came to Asia 11 years ago, both from Germany. Our now 7-year old son was born in Hong Kong. We would be happy if you could take good care of our 2 darling cats Purdy and Fauchy while living on our boat. Thiemo works for a German retail company and Sabine works as a part-time translator. We are open to all offers during school holidays and always look for a home exchange to a ski area during Christmas vacation anywhere in the world as well as nearby short-flight summer-sun-beach-relaxing holidays.
