Our house is located between the wine growing area along the Rhine with medieval castles and the densely wooded Siebengebirge, dominated by the legendary Drachenfels mountain. From our small town you can start boat trips up the Romantic Rhine to Bonn, Königswinter or Cologne (the cathedral- one of the most famous visiting attractions of Germany) or to the Loreley Rock near Koblenz.

Our Villa is situated just 150 yards from the river and 700 yards from the mountains, ideal for mountain biking, hiking, skating and for long walks along the Rhine or in the forest.

Everything is within walking distance - restaurants, wine bars, shops, Railway station.

We are a family of four. Axel (50+) is a dentist with his own office in Bonn and a fantastic cook. Vera (40+) is an aeronautical engineer, head of flight safety and crew training at Lufthansa and managing projects within the airline world. Our two sons are 13 and 10 years old and very easy-care. We all like to travel and to explore the world. We've already made fantastic experiences with three exchanges in Costa Rica, South Africa (Cape Town) and (Johannesburg)and we really like to welcoming our guests in Germany. Our second home is available all year around but we usually let it on a commercial basis. Therefore planning in better time would be very helpful.
