The house is located in a small residents only street, comprised of 9 similar houses in a quite residential street and walking distance (1/2 hour) to the town center. Public transport runs frequently.

Marburg itself is a small, picturesque medieval university town with around 80000 inhabitants. Venice is known for its 1.000 bridges, Marburg for its 1.000 alleys and stairs. Narrow lanes wind wind through its vibrant Old Town and it is also blessed with the Elisabeth Church, Germany's oldest pure Gothic Cathedral. Established in 1527, the Philipps University is Europe's oldest protestant University. Towering above Old Town sits the medieval Castle. We are Heidi and Kurt. Heidi making use of partial retirement has worked as a teacher for blind and visually impaired students for 30 years. Kurt works as an orientation and mobility specialist with blind and visually impaired clients of all ages. We are in our end fifties and like to travel.During the last decades we spent several months in New Zealand and Australia. This is our first attempt with exchanging homes.
