Description of our house

We offer a ligth and spacious apartment in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. Like almost the whole Prenzlauer Berg it has been reconstructed a few years ago. There ist a large living-room to relax, listen to the music (or even watch TV!) and a smaler one with an armchair - kind of a library. There is one master bedroom with king-size bed and an office/guest-room with a smaller bed (130cm). These two bedrooms are very quiet with windows to a small court. In the heart of the apartment you will find the large kitchen with dining area. The apartment got two small balconys: One to watch the street the other to dry the laundry. The bathroom is very small, but there is a second WC.

The Boetzowviertel is one of the most wanted areas in Prenzlauer Berg. The apartment is situated in a calm street. Many shops and restaurants, only five minutes to the second biggest park in Berlin-Center with cafés and an open air cinema from june to september. The public transport in Berlin is excellent and it takes 5 minutes to a tram-station from where you get in 8 minutes to Alexanderplatz every 5 minutes during the day. Something about ourselves

We are both 48 years old and both jugdes (no need to be afraid!). We are living in Berlin for almost 20 years now and we like the city very much, although we do not very much take advantage of its cultural proposals (sounds a bit like couch potatoes, dosn't it?). We had very successful exchanges with exchange partners in London (twice), Paris, Roma, Ljubljana and Kopenhagen. For 2012 we don't have a special destination in mind so far, but please note that we are not looking for exchanges in winter in general (and winter in Berliner terms includes march ;-)). We decided to travel without exchanging homes over Easter 2012 (what a boring concept!), so a non-simultanous exchange might be an option. ![]()
