Description of our house

Our house dates back to the nineteenth century. It used to be the blacksmith's house and is located in a little hamlet surrounded by vineyards. It overlooks the square in the village where we often have a drink with our neighbours under the tree and where our daughters ride their bikes. All the main rooms (kitchen, dining area, living room, 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms) are upstairs. There is also a study downstairs with a high quality sofa bed and toilets and another room with a sofa bed and a big screen TV and a billiard table which opens unto the garden. The whole house is fully equipped and people say it is cosy. In summer, we have a small swimming pool which is great when it gets hot !

Boissel is a little hamlet 2 kms away from a medieval village called Gaillac (where you'll be able to find shops and nice restaurants). It is famous for its wine (there is some very good quality and nice tasting wine across the street from our house !!). The area here is very nice, especially if you like medieval villages and towns. There are 8 classified medieval villages around Gaillac and Albi (famous for its cathedral and medieval center) has recently been enlisted on the Unesco world heritage list. Something about ourselves

We are a couple in our late thirties with two lovely daughters (2003 and 2006). We love travelling and think swapping our house is the best way to discover new places and meet new people.
