Our home is a beautiful and large 4th floor apartment (with elevator) located in an old building within the center of Lyon, just a short 10 minutes walk from Downtown and steps away from a large green park (Parc de la Tête d'Or, the largest urban park in France). We are 2 blocks away from the first underground station, and around 15 min far walk from the main train station. We have a large and comfortable living-room with a sofa that can be made into a double bed, a kitchen with a table for 3 to 4, a bathroom with bath, a parent bedroom with double bed and a baby bedroom quiet and well-protected from street noise.

The city of Lyon is known for its historical and architectural landmarks and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The apartment is really close to everything, ideally located as a touring base. The apartment is in a safe and animated area, excellently located for exploring the city both culturally and socially. We are Marion (33) and Mikaël (35), a couple with a baby boy who will be six months by summer 2011. Marion is a French teacher and Mikaël an IT Project Manager. We love to travel, discover people and have an intense cultural life. We have set ideas about where we would like to go (mainly Europe) but are still open to suggestions. We would get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in France. We are very respectful and would take care of your home as we would our own.
