Description of our house
Located at the first floor, our flat used to be a sweeing workshop. It has been totaly refurbished in 2006.
It is a loft with a 3.3 meters high ceiling and a 55 sqm (m2) main room.
We have mixed moden style furniture in 18th century architecture : wooden and iron exposed beams, wooden floor, large windows.
- The main room is 55 m2, an open space mixing the kitchen and the lounge.
The kitchen is fully equiped (oven-grill, microwave, dish washer, induction, electric wine celar, big fridge) with a big familly table (2.5 meters).
Lounge includes a computer desk with broadband and unlimited free phone (France, Europe, North America, Australia...), a home cinema, and two sofas which can be changed in two confortable beds (160 cm x 200 cm).
- The bathroom offers a shower and a bath.
- The children's room has two twin bed. Parents room is just one bed + wall cupboard.
- The last room is a laundry with a washing machine + a dryer + wall cupboards.

Our neighborhood
Our apartment is in the heart of Paris, between metro stops Strasbourg-Saint-Denis and Réaumur-Sébastopol.
From our house you can walk within 10 minutes to Les Halles and Centre Georges Pompidou (modern art). It'll take you 15 minutes to Le Louvre, Place des Vosges. 5-10 minutes more and you can be in Galeries Lafayette (departement store) or reach Notre Dame or Opera Garnier.
Lots of affordable restaurants (french, italian, indian, turkish, jewish, basque,...), cafés, brasseries and excellent food shops around.

Something about ourselves
We're 3 : Gaspard is 3 years old, Marylène is 40 (own communication business specialized in wine promotion : www.touslescavistes.com) and Philippe is 37 (own internet software business : www.netive.fr).
We're curious, we enjoy walking during hours and discover places, museums, historical sites...
We enjoy meeting people and cultures, and we like sharing with others. As we've been living in Paris for almost 20 years, we'll be able to advise you properly for a GREAT stay whichever are your tastes.
