One bedroom apartment 68 m2, ground floor, 10 mn walk to Versailles castle and garden. 16 km to Paris (car 20 mn or train 30 mn to Paris) , 5 mn walk to the railway station to Paris, 1h to Giverny (Claude Monet's garden, Normandy) and 1h1/2 to Disneyland, 2h1/2 to the Loire castles, 3h 1/2 to the Mont Saint Michel (UNESCO World Heritage). Ground floor apartment in a luxurious and full security town, cut stone building, built under the reign of Louis XIV "The Sun King". Genuine mascarons (faces of stone) on the outside wall of the building, sharpened by 1710. High quality Queen size Bed in the bedroom, and 2 couch-beds 135 cm each in the living room. Tiny separated room with wood paneled library. Full equipped kitchen. Home cinema, TV, DVDs. Bathroom with double basin and bathtube. Parking just near the apartment is very easy and free in August - Public transportation is simple and safe. - I am open to offers - NO PETS please -

Versailles architecture is harmonious; the town offers very high quality of french way of life; Close to home are food stores, antiques shops, restaurants, bookshops and a post office. People are kind and neighborhood is friendly. The town is very safe. St Louis Cathedral, near the apartment, is an historical place (Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette). A market takes place on the cathedral square twice a week. There are also four beautiful other famous squares, named "Carrés St Louis", close to the apartment, with trees and small typical houses. The terraces of cafes and restaurants are marvelous, under the trees. You are 10 mn walk to the wonderful park of the castle and the famous Vegetable Garden of the King. St Louis is a silent area, ideally located for having rest, walk, enjoy nature and birds, architecture beauty, taste the "french way of life" and cultural activities. Versailles is a town looking like a small ancient village, closed to Paris. The antique dealers area is famous and really nice (small streets and courtyards). The castle is inside the town, 400m from the apartment, and brings a sensation of peace and luxury. I go walking to the park of the castle at least twice a week. Musical fountains are so nice !
