Description of our house
Our apartment is ideally situated closed to shops in the neighborhood (market, bakery, supermarket), restaurants and transport (subway line 7 at 50m, new and cross paris line 14 at 400m, bus). At the 2nd floor of a small and charming 3 floors building, with a lovely garden, it was completely renovated in 2006 and sizes 73m². With 2 bedrooms, a pleasant living room, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher ...), a beautiful bathroom and separate toilet, it will be ideal for 4 people. It is also equipped with all the comforts: high speed internet, free phone to most destinations, computer, TV with over 100 channels ... It is very calm, very enlightened with its 7 windows offering both a street and garden views. Our preference for the period: - 1 week between april and end of june or 2 weeks in september but we can discuss for others dates of course.

Our neighborhoodOur apartment is ideally located in the 13th district of Paris (South East), near the Chinese area. It is a quiet and safe neighborhood. There are many shops around: good bakery where you can buy your "croissant", restaurants, cafés, markets and a mall at less than 10’ walking. You can also rent a bike (velib), there are 3 stations just around our place. By walk, you can easily go to attractive areas: the French National Library, the “quais de Seine”, the Bercy park, “Les Gobelins” and the “rue mouffetard”… By metro, it only takes 1’ walking to go the metro line 7, and 5’ to line 14 and you can go to all the famous places in Paris in less than 30’ (Chatelet, Les Halles, Saint Michel, Le Louvre : 15’ maximum, Les Champs Elysées : 20’, Eiffel Tower: 25’, Le Marais : 15’...)

Something about ourselvesWe are a young couple, married since June 2005, proud parents of a charming girl of 10 months. Vanessa is 27 years old, works as a IT architect in a big French company. Viet is 34 years old, and is IT project manager. We are passionate about photos, love to travel and spend our weekend playing golf or with our family. We had the chance to travel a lot, especially in Asia and by backpack. Now, with the arrival of Ava, we want to try home swap to discover another way to travel. This is our first home exchange but we are quite confident! Have a pleasant stay in our flat and hope that you'll like Paris as much as we do.
