Our house is in the country side and conveniently located 45 kms to Paris. You will enjoy the peaceful setting after a visiting day in Paris. Our house is probably 300 years old. We restored it by the rulebook from the cellar to the top, with oaks beams under the roof and the ceilings, plaster on the walls and traditional tiles on the floor. The fireplace in the living room gives a warm welcome. However, our house is very simple, it is a family house simply furnished with French standard. The garden is very large with huge trees. We have bikes and choice of 2 cars (one large, one small)

Belle Eglise, our village is 45 km to Paris centre. It is no more the suburb. Fields and forests are surrounding. However, most of people work in Paris, using their car or the train. There are all commodities in the village and several supermarkets 5 minutes drive. We are near Chantilly Castle National Museum and many other famous places as Auvers-sur-Oise or Beauvais Gothic Cathedral. In Beauvais, there is also the low-cost international airport from where you can travel in all Europe, sometimes for almost free, with Ryanair company. Something about ourselves

Pierrette, my wife, and I (Alain) are both young retired. Pierrette was mathematic teacher, I was administration manager. We are a reconstituted family whose children are grown up. Today we have three grandchildren. We already did several home-exchanges. We are found of hiking in the outdoors, visiting towns and making new friends.
