We are about 10min drive from the sea and there are nice sandy beaches or stone beaches (Sète, Aresquiers)where you and your family will enjoy the sun, the warm water, the sand, and why not some nice restaurants...
The town of Sète is the bigger French fishing port and offers boat tours on the Etang de Thau, along with nice sea food, a lovely scenic view at the top of the mount Saint Clair, traditionnal jousting games on the canals (the town is also know as the little Venice!)... Definitly a place to discover!
The town of Montpellier is very nearby (30mn drive, 15mn train to the city centre) and is nice to visit.
In summer, there is full of music festivals around and touristic tours..
Nearby, there are some playing centers for young children (trampolines, slides, etc...).
Frontignan is a little town of 20 000 inhabitants; it has a market twice a week.
The house is near supermarkets and shops.
Frontignan is the place for wine tasting: it's a major producer of Muscat wine (don't leave without tasting it) and there are lots wineries to visit nearby (Languedoc region).
Nearest airports (including lowcost): Béziers , Carcassonne, Montpellier. We are about 10min drive from the sea and there are nice sandy beaches or stone beaches (Sète, Aresquiers)where you and your family will enjoy the sun, the warm water, the sand, and why not some nice restaurants...

We are a couple, Eirios and Thierry, with two little girls (2 and 6). We both work, in a environmental and agricultural consulting company, and as a Training for teachers Advisor.
We have already experienced 2 home exchanges (Québec, Ireland) and were thrilled (our exchangers too!). We find it is a good way to travel and really discover in detail an area and its inhabitants.
We generally travel during school holidays. We already have an exchange fixed for summer 2013. We are a couple, Eirios and Thierry, with two little girls (2 and 6). We both work, in a environmental and agricultural consulting company, and as a Training for teachers Advisor.
