We live in a very charming house in the heart of the world famous vineyards of Medoc. It is located just five minutes drive from Château Margaux, forty minutes drive from Bordeaux historical center, forty minutes drive from Lacanau Beach, and one hour drive from Bassin d’Arcachon. Its surface is 180 m2. It has generous light-filled rooms, a nice garden and a swimming pool (with a safety cover). We have a large terrace, a barbecue and a children swing. Our home is cozy, clean and well cared for.
The main floor includes an entrance hall, a powder room, a kitchen, a light and airy open plan living/dining room with a comfortable sofa, a dining table, a piano, a working fireplace, a screen television, a DVD player, some books, and some toys and books for children. The main floor includes also the master bedroom with a double bed and an adjacent bathroom. The top-floor has two bedrooms with a single bed, a bathroom (with a bathtub), separated toilets, and a desk with an additional double bed.
The kitchen is well equipped, including a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee-maker, a blender, and a toaster. There is wireless Internet throughout the house and a computer in the desk. The house is located in a small cul-de-sac, in a wonderful and quiet place to relax after a day of touring! It is within a five-minute walk to all services: bakery, caterer/butcher shop, grocery store, pharmacy, hairdresser, dry cleaner, and post-office.
There are many local winery tours and wine tasting available, as long as lots of opportunities to walking and cycling (we have three bicycles available for your use). Local horse riding treks, golf, spa and fitness areas are also close by. There are many places to visit and things to do in Bordeaux, which is inscribed on UNESCO’s world heritage list. We will be happy to give you all the information you need.
