Description of our house

![]() ]
Our home is from the 16th Century, lovingly restored with modern amenities. The main house has 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms with toilet and a separate toilet. It has some lovely features including a fireplace in most rooms, a well equipped kitchen and each bedroom is individually styled. We have been renting so we provide soaps, dressing gowns, slippers in every bedroom. There is a separate apartment which is totally self contained overlooking the pool and sleeps 2 adults and two children on a pull out bed in the lounge area. We have an olive grove and a vineyard behind the house and the gardens are totally enclosed. A 20 minute walk takes you to our local village which has a post office, two bars a small restaurant, tabac and grocer. The area in the Rhone Valley borders the Rhone river and the Ardeche river and is very popular in Summer.

Situated where the Rhone river meets the Ardeche river, the area is famous for its wines, olives and all things agricultural. There are a number of pretty hilltop villages within easy reach of the house, such as Aigueze and La Rocque sur Ceze. The nearest town is Pont St Esprit which borders the Rhone river and this has all essential facilities including a range of supermarkets, banks etc. Nearby are the towns of Avignon, Nimes and smaller but very popular also, the town of Uzes, which is the first Duchy of France. ![]() Something about ourselves

We are originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands. My partner David and me love to travel but we also love to show new people our home in France and the area surrounding us. We have a website for the house which will give you a better idea about its location and some better pictures. Check out my Homepage. ![]()
