![]() Our neighborhood
The house is on the edge of a lovely small hamlet bordering the Auvézère River, with a very good restaurant. It is an ideal location for exploring the Dordogne with Perigueux, Sarlat, Bergerac, Lascaux and Hautefort Chateau all within easy reach. Local markets abound and there are plenty of other restaurants in surrounding villages. For the more active-minded walking, canoeing, fishing, cycling on an old railway track and walking through the trees on a rope walk are all nearby. Something about ourselves
We are Annita and Keith, retired headteacher and English teacher respectively, who have been living in France for 11 years. We both enjoy travel, theatre, cinema, reading, gardening and playing backgammon. The exchange would not have to be simultaneous as we have a small property attached which we could use. ![]()
