We have spent six years renovating this lovely old French farmhouse. It has three large double bedrooms, all with ensuite, a large dining kitchen, a converted barn for the main living room with a huge wood burning fire. The garden is just under a hectare has lots of room for children to play. The kitchen leads on to a terrace housing a barbeque and jacuzzi spa, which is usable all year.

Our neighborhood
We are situated in a lovely area, both quiet and tranquil yet handy for travelling to many interesting tourist centres, such as Poitiers which has the ever popular Futuroscope - a great place for a day out for ages 4 to 80+! The local town of Airvault 2 kilometres away has a weekly market, swimming pool, tennis courts and a beautiful park. There is a large lake just 20 minutes drive away for good fishing (also in the park and many other venues locally). Of course, as with the whole of France, lots of good restaurants. Richard and Sally are both 58. Richard works in civil engineering and spends much of his time working in London and commuting back and forth to our home in France. Sally is a stained glass and mosaic artist and spends most of her time her workshop attached to the farmhouse in France. We have two black Labradors who travel with us.  marks the location of this home
