Our house is located in a quiet street near the university, 5 minutes from the town center, 15 minutes from the sea. All the commodities very close by walk. The tramway or bus is 1 minute walk from the house. It's not a very big but it's a sweet and bright home with all the comfort for a family with children. The main room (part, play) contains a lounge(show) dining room and a cooking(kitchen) with a bar. There is a piano too you can use. In the lounge(show) is a wood stove, pleasant in winter. The cooking(kitchen) looks onto the terrace and the garden. At the ground floor are 2 rooms (chambers) with double beds; in the floor, 2 rooms(chambers) for children. The basement makes all the house and contains the laundry. Simple but with a warm décoration! We are a family with 2 children borned in 1999, 2002. We work all together. I'm a French teacher and my husband is woodworker. Our children are musicians (piano and trumpet) and they go in specialized classes: they go to school in the morning and to the classical music academy in the afternoon. Classical music, concert, reading, museum, travelling, new languages are our passions. (we haven't got TV and any video games!) We like cinema, nature walking too. We insure that we'll take care of your house as our own and we expect it'll be the same for you. Our boys are very quiet. They just need work their music every day (and I recognize trumpet makes noise!).
We have made 2 wonderful exchanges and it seems to be a wonderful means to discover another country by living it as a real inhabitant, and to allow somebody to make it so much in ours.
I am also looking for an English family with children (preferably a boy) of my son's age (now 13) interested in an exchange of the children during school holidays throughout the year so that they can practise their French/English respectively.
