Description of our house

![]() ]
Our house is situated in a quiet housing estate in La Ciotat. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach, the port and the centre of town. The house has a large lounge/dining room. The conservatory/library at the back of the house also has an adjoining dining area. We spend a lot of our evenings either here or in the front garden during the summer months. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and one single. The bathroom has both a shower and bath. The house has two toilets, one in the upstairs bathroom and one downstairs. The house has a converted garage area which has been converted into a small washroom. Our house has a very homely, cosy feel to it. We love it and hope you will too.....

La Ciotat is on the south coast of France. It is between Marseille and Toulon. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to these towns. It is very beautiful with gorgeous sandy beaches and a very picturesque port, with markets on Sunday and Tuesday mornings. There is also a market all along the port in the evening through the summer months. We have two beautiful coves here called Mugel and Figuerolles. The fabulous coves between Marseille and Cassis just 10 minutes away are equally well known. There is so much to visit here in Provence. Aix en Provence is 40 minutes away and you can also take a trip out to Avignon,Arles and les Baux de Provence. The list is never-ending. However if you just want a nice lazy sunny holiday, come and relax here. Everything is within walking distance ! ![]() Something about ourselves

My name is Judie and I am a 56 year old English teacher. I am originally from England but have lived here for over 30 years now. My two daughters in their twenties no longer live at home and my 17 year old son is planning on going to university in September. I may travel with a friend or my son who often holidays with me...or I may just travel alone. We'll see! ![]()
