Renovated in 2010, our house is open to the outside and particularly pleasant in the summer, with its very large garden, comfortable terrace in the shade and the swimming pool. Since we live here, we are less and less going out as we are enjoying so much the quiet and the space offered by the house and garden.
The house is on a single floor, only a couple of steps to access one of the bathrooms and the main bedroom, so it is relatively safe even for small children. However due to the presence of the swimming pool, you must be extra careful to avoid accidents (there is an alarm, but there's nothing like watching your kid at all times to avoid the worst!) In the area of Roquefort we live in, most of the houses are secondary residences, the area is very quiet and relaxing. Shops, pharmacy, bank and post office are at walking distance.
Just next to the house, several trekking routes start, for walks from one hour to a full day, to visit the rich environment, in forest or open spaces, where the sight often stretches over to the sea.
Seaside is at 20 minutes drive (Cagnes sur mer, or Cannes), ski resorts at 1 hour drive door to door. The weather is incredibly good in any season. Most museums and resorts of the French Riviera are at very short distance, city and airport of Nice is at 20 min drive. We are a family of four, with a girl and a boy aged 11 and 14.
We share our house with Lola, our cat...hope you are not allergic to cats! As she does not like travelling, so she will be in the house, but lives in the garden most of the time.
Mum is Italian and daddy is French. We have moved from the Paris area only 3 years ago but we still feel like tourists over-here, there is so much to do! We enjoy skiing, tennis, cinema, reading and often go the Opera.
Our passion to us all is sailing, we rented a few times a sailing boat and the kids go to sailing courses during the holidays.
We enjoy travelling and since we now live in a more quiet place, we love spending some time in the buzz of big cities...just for the fun of the difference! We are a family of four, with a girl and a boy aged 11 and 14.
