Our house is situated in a quiet and green area in the typical Mediterranean village of Vallauris. It is a comfortable, two storey, semidetached (1400 sq ft) with a large garden. There are three bedrooms: one with a large bed and the two others with a single. A full bathroom with a bath and toilets. A small kitchen, a laundry, a study and a large living room giving out on a sunny terrace. In Summer we have almost all our meals outside on the terraces.

Vallauris a typical 17th century village. It owns its renown to the pottery made there. Picasso spent some time in the village and a museum is dedicated to him. Vallauris is ideally situated in between Cannes, Antibes and Nice (20-30mn drive). Not far from Monaco, Italy and Saint Tropez (1 hour drive). The French Riviera, of course, means the sea side but also has a beautiful - almost untouched - hinterland ideal for hikers and those who like visiting medieval villages. ![]() Something about ourselves

About us: My wife is an English teacher and I am a vice-head in a Cannes high school (used to be an English teacher too). We have two daughters Clémence, 17 and Elise 13. We have been living on the Riviera for 10 years now but we are from Paris. We love traveling and meeting people of different cultures and we think exchanging houses is the best way to do it. We have both already visited many countries, lived in the States as teaching assistants for a year and went numerous times to different parts of UK but it will be a great new experience for our two daughters. We are non smokers and very considerate people. We will treat any home we exchange with as if it were our own. ![]()
