The apartment is located in the first floor of a five floored building. We have 3 bedrooms each equipped with a double bed (queen size) and a full closet, an office with a mac computer, 1 bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate toilet. There's a living room with a convertible sofa-bed (queen size), for an extra 2 person (total sleeps 8), in case. It has a flat screen TV, DVD player and a digital piano. The living room is an L-shaped with one edge as a dining corner, linked to a fully-equipped kitchen. We have the great view of green rolling hills throughout the year and a tiny sea view from the living room. You can take advantage of this view while eating on the terrace of about 12 m2. Each window has a forest or tree view. We have a parking spot just in front of the terrace. The building is equipped with an elevator.
The residence is a big complex, very family oriented, lots of kids, calm and secure. There's a plaza , located 50 meters from the apartment, where you'll find all the stores and where people hangout. The complex has its own "boulangerie" where you can buy bread and pastries, a small grocery store/restaurant/snack,and even a library just below the apartment. There's a post-office, two hairdressers, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, a nurse, and 4 general practitioners (medical doctors), for your convenience.
There's a bus stop 100 meters from the apartment, which is the end stop of bus line 6 of Antibes. The bus route goes straight to Antibes downtown and passes through the train station as well. It's good to have a car to go around but everything is accessible by public transportation as well.

Our neighborhood is called Semboules, located in the upper hills of Antibes. It's a community all on its own. We have the advantage of being close to everything without being in the middle of it. We're a couple of minutes away from the highway exit of Antibes. We're 5 minutes away from the nearest grocery store, Carrefour, one of the biggest grocery store in the region. You can find almost everything you need in our Carrefour. It's the nearest and cheapest gas station as well.
There is a tennis club complex about 200 meters away, the heated city pool is a 10 min car ride away or 20 min bus ride. The whole area is covered by forest. There are a number of hikes to do minutes away from the apt. Parks like Aquasplash, Marineland, and other family parks are all but a few minutes away.
There are tons of things to do just around the corner. Let's start with dowtown Antibes, which is 6 km away, 10 min away by car, 30 min by bus. Antibes is considered the most beautiful city in the Cote d'Azur and this is where we live!. It's a charming little old town, with it's port, majestic Fort Carre, and cobblestoned walks. And of course, the beaches!!!. The closest sand beach is right in downtown Antibes.
Antibes is a great home base to visit sites on the east and west side of the cote. Cannes (known for no less the Cannes festival), Biot known for its glassblowing, charming village Saint Paul de Vence. Nice for its carnival, the jet set Monaco, Eze, a village perched on a cliff. Menton for its lemon festival. The world known Saint-Tropez is just a little bit over an hour away.

I'm originally from the Philippines, moved to the United States at 17 to finish my bachelors in Biology and doctorate in Optometry. After graduation, I moved to France with my husband, an electrical engineer. We have an 8 yr old son, who's currently into skiing, swimming and playing the piano.
Throughout the years, I've met different people from different walks of life. At 35, I had already lived in three different continents and had visited 35 countries. Seeing what I have seen makes me realize how lucky I am to be where I am now. And for that reason, I've always tried to do my best and take advantage of life as much as I can. I love learning and trying out exotic cuisines.
My husband and I are very open minded people. We love to visit new places each time.
We're not sporty, we're not difficult. We like things organized and detailed, as you can see.
This exchange would permit my family to meet extraordinary people from magical places we've never been to. What an exciting life we're leading.
We already had a very successful exchange with a Spanish couple, a Moroccan family, two cities in Australia and a Croatian couple.
