Description of our house

My home is comfortable, clean, spacious and very sunny even in winter; it's so cool with a fire in the fireplace! It's situated in a big park with old trees, with a view on the little garden, very, very calm and peacefull; Birds, squirrels and cicadas wake up in summer!sunny in winter too!

Our neighborhood

 The house is situated in one of the most typical picturesque old village on the "Côte d'Azur";
 this is an artistic place, famous around the world for its special glassmaking (7 family's factories), antique potery, narrows streets, national museum, restaurants (high french gastronomy), coffee, shopping....Very close to the beach, to the aquatic park "Marineland", so beautiful CORSICA island in 2 hours with the NGV Navy, close to the mountain (MERCANTOUR), situated between the cities as Antibes ( famous jazz festival), Nice (international airport) and Cannes ( international cinema festival); A lot of things to do: culturel: museum, gallery, gastronomy, famous villages to visit; sport: golf, horsing, swimming, hiking, skying....

Something about ourselves

I'm a 65 years woman; I have 3 children who live in LYON, twins girls and my son has a little girl 3 years;
 My husband was a pharmacist; he is dead now; I was a french teacher (training for student at the university), I'm retired for a long time; I lived many years in French West Indies (Caraïbes Sea). I use to travel around the world very often for myself, but I also work like a volunteer 2 or 3 months a year in a french ONG for teaching eveywhere....West Africa, Haïti, Middle East.... I already spent a few days in NYC, but now, I have time to stay a long time (at least 5 or 6 weeks to discover the city, meet people and teach my English. This is my "American dream"!
