![]() Our neighborhood
Don't forget, 300 sunny days a year!!! The house is situated in one of the most typical picturesque old village on the "Côte d'Azur"; this is an artistic place, famous around the world for its special glassmaking (7 family's factories), antique potery, narrows streets, 2 museum, restaurants (high french gastronomy), coffee, shopping....Very close to the beach, to the "Marineland", so beautiful CORSICA island in 2 hours, close to the mountain, between cities like Antibes, Nice (international airport) and Cannes (cinema festival); A lot of things to do: culturel: museum, gallery, gastronomy, famous villages to visit; sport: golfing, horsing, swimming, hiking, skying.... Something about ourselves
I'm a 60 years woman; I have 3 children who live in LYON, twins girls and my son has a baby 18 months; My husband was a pharmacist; he is dead now; I was a french teacher (training for student at the university), I'm retired for a long time; I lived many years in French West Indies (Caraïbes Sea). I use to travel around the world very often for myself, but I also work like a volunteer 2 or 3 months a year in a french ONG for teaching eveywhere....West Africa, Haïti, Middle East.... I already spent a few days in NYC, but now, I have time to stay a long time (at least 2 months) to discover the city, meet people and teach my English. This is my "American dream"! ![]()
