Description of our house

We love our vacation apartment. It is located in a XIXth century building just behind the beautiful harbor of Nice (some water views between buildings) and very convient to everything. It has the charm of an old typical niçois apartment (provençal floor tiles, very thick walls, green shutters) and all the modern comforts (tumble marble kitchen, Miele washer and dryer, completely renovated bath). Second bedroom is small but very cute, perfect for 2 children. FYI the apt is not free until March 2010.

This is a great location. The harbor is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Nice, quaint, yet completely central. The old Medieval town, beaches, antique shops, shops and restaurants of all kinds are all within 5 minute walking distance. Public transportation is also nearby. Something about ourselves

My husband and I live in Santa Monica, California. We have two children, 22 and 19, and a small dog. I am Karin, half French half Swedish, originally from Nice, and I am a high school teacher. Eddie, originally from New York City, is a musician and composer.
