Falicon is a residential village of the French Riviera within 5-10 minutes'drive to Nice city centre; Buses also offer easy access to town (with a bus stop nearby). The house and garden are quite private with a lovely view on the ancient village of Falicon, the surrounding hills and the mediterranean in the distance.
Nice at the heart of the French Riviera is located between Cannes and Monaco.Italy is just 15 miles away. Our region offers a wide choice of visits and activities to the holiday makers: swimming and water sports, tennis, golf,hiking but also mountaineering and skiing in winter at the mountain resorts at little more than an hour's drive. There are also many art museums and sites of natural or cutural interest not only on the coast but also in the hinterland with its perched ancient villages and mountains of the southern Alps.

We are Jacques and Babbi a married couple in our late sixties recently retired. I was an academic at Nice University and my Swedish born wife a head nurse at Nice public hospital. We are quite active- I enjoy working in the garden, I play golf and tennis and am fond of trout fishing in our mountain streams. Babbi is keen on designing and sewing her own clothes, she loves mountaineering, golf and is also involved in voluntary social programmes.
We have already done three very successful exchanges and are open to more opportunities. We think it is a good way of getting to know another country as resident, to make new acquaintances and new friends.We are also open to the possibility of non simultaneous exchanges.
