Description of our house
We have a big, new and modern family house (250sq) with own garden (1500sq) and a new swimming pool (round, diameter 5,5m). We have one bedroom with kingside bed, two children rooms and one big bedroom in second floor + working room with two sofabeds. Big, high and bright living room with 12 persons dining table, fire place, open kitchen. Bathroom with Finnish electricity sauna and jacuzzi.
Come and spend the winter holiday of your life in the land of Santa Claus. Usually we have a snow at winter time, specially in February-March. It's lovely to play outside in white snow, come after that inside, lighting candles go to warm sauna and relax beside the fireplace.

Our house is in Helsinki suburban (Espoo), which is only 15-20 minutes from Helsinki (the Capital of Finland) by car or bus. Nearest Shopping center with restaurants and shops, library and swimming hall is only 5 minues away by car or 15 minutes by walking. Bigger shopping center and movie theater is also only a 8 minuets away. We have a plenty of skating and cross-country skiing places. Finland is safe place to live, this is one of the safest country in the word. Kids can freely play outside. We live in a nice suburb with friendly neigbours. We have great bikingroads beside almost every street in Finland and you can use our 5 bikes (3 audults and 2 children) to riding where ever you like.
In Helsinki we have a lot of restaurants, shops, zoo, amusement park, theaters, museums, beautiful buildings...everything what a city can offer. You can find more travel information from Helsinki: www.helsinki.fi.

Something about ourselvesI'm Maria and my husband is Kari, we are forty something. We are working as a managers in Finnish companies. We have two lovely girls 7 and 10 years. We love to travel and have new experiences. Even we love animals unfotunately I'm allergic for them and we can't swap families with cat or dog. We will do our best to give you a lot of hints what you can do in Finland to get the most memorable holiday.
We just returned our first exchange from Italy, Verona. It was a great experience.
