The neighbourhood is small and friendly. Our house at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.It takes 15 mins walk into the centre of town where there are restaurants and supermarkets. Burgess Hill (pop 29,000) is set amid lovely countryside about 10 miles north of Brighton our coastal city.South Downs National Park has just been created and we are 5 miles from a part of it. We are about 30 mins from Gatwick Airport and just over an hour to London Heathrow traffic permiting. The historic cities of Chichester, Portsmouth and Hastings are within easy reach as is London. Many National trust properties ( Stately Houses and Castles plus gardens) are in our area. In the countryside you can enjoy many miles of hiking trails, quaint villages and country pubs. For more information on Burgess Hill visit http://www.inburgesshill.co.uk Something about ourselves

Alan worked for British Airways and is 65, Viola was a nurse and has retired. We have been able to travel all over the world but my wife is fed up of 2 nights here and 2 nights there and not getting to see an area properly. We can be more flexible on dates and open to offers anywhere in the world especially if British Airways fly to a nearby airport. We are non smokers. We have done seven exchanges which have been very successful.WE ARE UNABLE TO EXCHANGE CARS DUE TO UK INSURANCE LAWS.We are unable to consider any exchange until October 2011. ![]()
