Would you like to spend time in West Sussex, England? Our comfortable and bright fisherman’s cottage is one block from the ocean in the West Side of Royal Bognor (King George V came to convalesce during 1929, the King and Queen actually staying at Craigwell House in Aldwick; as a result, the King bestowed the Regis suffix on Bognor) in one of the most picturesque rural counties in the south. Bognor Regis is the sunniest location in the UK, according to the Met Office, enjoying 1,902 hours of sunshine every year.

Our pretty, light two double bedroom (1885) semi-detached character cottage in the tranquil western part of Bognor Regis and just a 3-minute walk from the pebble and sand Aldwick beach and park. There are two reception rooms and the master bedroom has a dressing area/ nursery and en-suite.

It is a short drive to many quintessential Sussex/ English villages and some of the most outstanding countryside in the whole of the U.K. Only 1 hour 45 minutes to central London and 45 minutes to bohemian Brighton.

There is a 70’ (22m) south-facing garden to the rear and the property with two adult bicycles (one with child seat) and windsurf board/ wetsuits. The cottage has been fitted with a new oak kitchen and bathroom (with twin bath & power-shower).

We are a friendly young family (both professional teachers) with two girls (4 & 6) & a one year-old boy.

Clean, tidy and respectful - we've done 5 (five) successful houseswaps (three of which included a car swap) to Canada, France, Spain, England & Australia.

We enjoyed our first one in Canada so much we got married while we were there...
