Our house is 10 minutes walk from the centre of the historic city of Oxford. Oxford University colleges, art galleries, shopping, cinemas, loads of restaurants and pretty pubs nearby. People cycle everywhere in Oxford, so it's a great way to get around. The house is in the Grandpont area of Oxford - a very friendly residential area with lots of families. We are a 5 minute walk from a park with playground, tennis courts and openair swimming pool (summer months). Ice skating rink close by. The house is also right next to the river with beautiful walks, cycle routes, punting, etc. Only 1 hour to central London by train (station is 15 minutes walk away) or by regular 24 hour coach service. Something about ourselves

We are an adventurous family of 4 and have travelled together around the world. We have done home exchanges for the past three years and they have all been great experiences. Nick (38) is a software architect and Sam (38) is a marketing copywriter. Our children are aged 12 and 7 - very used to travelling, well behaved and used to staying in other people's houses. We also have a well-behaved Golden Retriever who we would ideally want to bring with us, though could leave him with friends for short exchanges. ![]()
