The barn is located in a quiet village only two miles from the dramatic North Norfolk coast, - " designated an area of outstanding natural beauty " - and 20 miles north of the city of Norwich. Shops are closeby in Sheringham, Holt and Cromer. The National Trust Felbrigg Estate is only a few minutes walk away with spectacular walking in mature forests and a Country House to visit. Nearby too is the spectacular Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park, both owned and maintained for the nation and visitors by the National Trust. For walkers we are almost on the Weavers Way, a waymarked footpath which meanders 60 miles from Cromer to Yarmouth. Also, the North Norfolk coast path passes nearby. The North norfolk Coast is a delight and offers a variety of landcapes: Vast open beaches with dunes and pine forests; marshes world famous for their bird life; seal colonies off Blakeney Point which you can visit in local boats and cliffs with treasures of prehistoric fossils. The local inland area is predominantly rural with unspoilt countryside, winding lanes, small villages and quaint English pubs offering meals made from local produce. Less than 15 miles away are the famous Norfolk Broads where every kind of boating activity is available. See Sail Boats passing through fields! Something about ourselves
