Description of our house
Our modern home is situated on a small housing development within walking distance of Norwich City centre. It is a warm and tidy house consisting of 2 large bedrooms, lounge, kitchen/ diner, bathroom. With full central heating, internet and digital TV it is a great place to come home and relax.
Norwich is situated in East of England; the city itself is medieval in origin with lots of history to take in. With a population of 130,000 it is large enough to have all the modern amenities of a city, but with the advantage of not being too crowded or busy.
A focal point of the city is Norwich Cathedral and Castle. There is the famous Norwich Market and plenty of interesting places to shop and eat.
Just outside of Norwich, are the famous Norfolk Broads, Coastal resorts & walks, along with many National Trust Stately Homes including Sandringham which is the Queens holiday home (I don't think she's up for a house exchange though! - But our home is!)

There is a Tesco Express supermarket 5 minutes walk from our home.
Bus:
There is a bus stop at the end of our road to the city centre costing £3.50 return or a gentle 30 minute walk
Train:
The train station is close by the city centre and has a regular service to London which only takes 2hrs. There are also trains to Cambridge which take 1hr and other parts of East Anglia and the UK. www.nationalexpresseastanglia.com www.nationalrail.co.uk for train services.
Airports:
We live 5.7km (£7 Taxi ride) from the Norwich City Airport which has flights direct to the main Paris and Amsterdam Airports, Alicante and Malaga in Spain and Dublin, Edinburgh and Manchester in the UK for more information go to www.norwichairport.co.uk
We live 137km or 1.5 hrs drive from Stanstead Airport which is one of the London Airports and is easily reached by coach from Norwich and has services by budget airlines to most Major European cities. www.stansteadairport.com

Something about ourselvesHi there!
I work as a Paramedic and my wife is studying part-time for her Masters degree, she also works part time for the UK government, and we are both actively involved in church leadership. We are both in our 30's and are looking forward to doing some Home Exchanges. We have no pets, do not smoke and are happy for children to stay in our home.
Our family lives in Cheltenham so we are particularly interested in extended weekends in that area, but are open to other offers.
