Our home is a garden flat on a quiet residential street near Hammersmith in West London. The building is Victorian and benefits from several period features while also being completely modern and comfortable.
We have two double bedrooms each with access to the garden. The kitchen is in the basement and is very spacious. Our large sitting room has plenty of space for eating or relaxing. The sofa also folds out into a double bed. We also have an aquarium with tropical fish.
The star of our flat is the 20 sq meter west facing garden where you can enjoy the peaceful setting in the middle of the big city.

We are conveniently located near Hammersmith and the transport links are excellent to both Central London and Heathrow airport on the Picadilly Line. Hammersmith&City Line, District Line and Central Line are also all within walking distance. Travel time to Heathrow is roughly 40 minutes door to door.
People say London is a city made up of small villages and our flat borders two pleasant neighbourhoods; Brook Green and Brackenbury Village. Both have nice local cafes and pubs. There is also an excellent Fish & Chips place nearby.
The best known local landmark is the Hammersmith Apollo where many famous bands have played. It is still a lively venue with music or comedy on most nights.
The Thames is about a ten minute walk away and there are lots of fun pubs dotted along the river. On a nice evening, its a great place for a walk, a pint underneath Hammersmith bridge and some people watching.
If you like shopping, the enormous Westfield shopping centre is a 15 min walk away at Shepherds Bush. There you can find designer shops, British high street chains like Topshop as well as a cinema and a large selection of restaurants.
Notting Hill and the famous Portobello Road are a 30 min walk or short bus journey away.
We love our leafy neighbourhood and will be happy to recommend all our favourite spots.
