We are really fortunate and live in my dream house in Chelsea. We gutted it a few years ago and it is now a light and airy four storey family period town house. You come up five stairs to enter the front door. The ground floor comprises of an open plan kitchen diner. I love cooking so I think I can safely say you'll have everything you'll need in addition to a stereo. Also on the Ground Floor is my son's bedroom (single).

Our Chelsea house is in the quiet end of a dead end road. The children living along the road are often found playing outside as it is very safe and we have lovely neighbours. From our house it is about a 30 second walk to the middle of the famous King's Road which has almost every shop you could need as well as many restaurants, cafes and the Saatchi Gallery. Paul a French patisserie is at the end of the road which is very handy for breakfast croissant etc. We are in walking distance of all the museums in South Kensington, ie. Science, Natural History and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The River Thames is an easy walk as are many parks, Hyde Park, Battersea Park, Chelsea Physics Garden and the Royal Hospital. And if you want to get somewhere a little quicker or a little further afield there are Barclays Bikes very close by. And failing that you never have to wait long for a taxi at the end of the road. We are a 15 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace and Harrods. ![]() Something about ourselves

We are now outnumbered! We have a three year old son and one year old twins. I am currently taking eight months off work to look after the little ones and my husband has an advertising company. I am really interested in doing a house swap in northern California as my sister is currently living there. I am also interested in a house swap in this country if a house could offer me a real contrast to what our house offers (big garden or near the sea). Failing any of the above if there was a lovely house within easy reach in Europe I'd give it a go (but would really need four bedrooms or three and somewhere to put two cots). ![]()
