3) December 20 2010 - January 03 2011 Where we want to go ![]() Description of our house
We live in a beautifully renovated family house in central London, in an area known as 'between the commons' due to the huge parklands on either side of the area. Stripped wooden floorboards downstairs, a sunny and inviting kitchen with dining area and south facing sun trap of a terraced garden. Wider than a normal Victorian house, the receptions rooms are spacious yet homely. We have two small children each with their own rooms, and a further two double bedrooms both en suite(bath and shower).

![]() Our neighborhood
We live just behind the popular Northcote Road which has a lively market each weekend, and draws people from all over London. There are many restaurants and bars that keep the area buzzing day and night and so many boutique shops that the street is commonly thought of as 'the Kings Road of the South'. We are a few minutes walk from both Wandsworth and Clapham Commons, lovely places to walk and perfect for families with numerous playgrounds. A great place for both families and those looking for a 'lively' social experience. Something about ourselves
My husband and I are both profesionals in the entertainment business (marketing and management) and we have two young children. I'm Australian and so try and travel home every year or so to see family and friends. While we haven't house-swapped before, we have our first swap lined up for Easter in Australia and so now we are keen to hear from people that fancy a couple of weeks in London in the summer of 2010. We're sure that our house provides a perfect base to experience London with all it has to offer and look forward to our first swap experience. ![]() ![]()
