Comfortable detached older style bungalow (single storey), with one double bedroom, large lounge, study, kitchen, dining room and 2 bathrooms. Lovely views of the garden and pond with koi carp from the lounge and a lovely view of the village church and garden from the bedroom.
Alterations in progress, will post new photos when completed. Making much bigger kitchen/dining room, and putting in new kitchen. Kings Langley is a village which is only 30 minutes away from London (with all its attractions) by fast train (15 minute walk from station) yet is within beautiful countryside. The towns of Watford,Hemel Hempstead, St. Albans, Berkhamsted and Tring are nearby. Many country pubs and restaurants within close proximity,one at the top of the road! Sport centres nearby.
Lots of nice walks alongside the canal or into the countryside, all only minutes away.
M25 2 minutes away, easy access to the south coast, can be in Brighton within 2 hours (or less, depending on traffic!) We are Chris and Ken (65 & 62), retired Administrator and HGV Driver.
We love our home and garden, Chris is a keen gardener,and Ken enjoys going fishing in any spare time. We have a motorhome and enjoy exploring the UK. We like to go up to London to the theatre. We like to travel and explore new places.
Chris has 'exchanged' before, although it was 16 years ago, but it was very successful and worked perfectly.
For obvious reasons, we wish to travel to warmer regions in our english winter, and even though we have put 3 months in our date region, we would be happy with 3-4 weeks. We are Chris and Ken (65 & 62), retired Administrator and HGV Driver.
