Our home is a 5 bedroom family home with everything a family needs living on the outskirts of London. Our house is 5 minutes walk from the very reliable London Rail network into central London and beyond. London is full of many amazing sights,Royal landmarks, museums, history, fantastic restaurants and shopping. It is also great for people watching while sitting outside with a pint of beer at any of the many pubs in London.
We are only a 10 minute bus ride into the Royal Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. We are surrounded by Royal Parks and Kew Gardens for walking, running and cycling and the River Thames is a stones throw away from our house. Twickenham is the home of the sport of Rugby so a fantastic place to base yourself if you are following your favourite team. The area is very safe and child friendly. Twickenham is 20 minutes from Heathrow airport and 40 minutes from Gatwick. is the perfect base for sightseeing in London but also surrounding cities of the UK.

We are Mike and Shelagh, we have 3 children 14, 10 and 7.
We had a very successful exchange last year for 3 weeks which was a great experience. We are hoping to find people who will respect our home as we would theirs. Up until now our travel has been limited to Europe as our children were quite small but we are now ready for more faraway travel. We recently decided, in attempt to be green we gave up our car as we do not use it very much, this has been surprisingly very easy and we would hope that anyone staying here would also find that too. We use our local buses which are in abundance and can take us all over London,or the train service is also really accessible for London and beyond. We have a hamster but if its not your thing we can arrange other care.
