Our comfortable family home sleeps up to 6 people in 1 double bedroom with a kingsize bed, a second double bedroom with a single bed and double (very comfortable) sofa bed, and a smaller Bedroom/Nursery with a single bed and large cot/cotbed. Our house is suitable and well equipped for babies and small children.
The open plan living space has large leather sofas, a flatscreen TV and DVD player plus a well stocked library full of books and DVDs to browse through, a dining table which seats up to 8 and a nice view of the garden.
We enjoy cooking ourselves, so our kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you would need for cooking/baking on your holiday, although the house is in easy walking distance to the town center, where there are lots of restaurants.
The garden is a nice setting for outdoor eating and BBQs. We have a cat who is friendly and independent, and can be kept outside except in winter. There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway and we are happy to do a car swap if required.
Our neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and safe. It is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town in one direction and the countryside in the other direction. We are the Parkers, a family of four who enjoy home exchanging as way of travelling which suits our two children, who are 15 and 4 months old. I am a Nurse and my husband is a professional Musician.
We enjoy travel, cookery, film and books, which I think you will find reflected in our home.
We aim to make our home comfortable and welcoming to exchangers and we have had lots of positive feedback from our previous exchange partners who enjoy the central location and find our home very clean and comfortable.
There are lots of toys available and the back garden is secure, so families with small children can relax in our home.
We are tidy and respectful people who will take very good care of your property and are happy to care for pets/gardens if needed.
