Something about ourselves

My family consists of 3, myself Eleanor 50 my husband Bob 51 and our son Matt 15. I work full time for a charity on the fundraising and marketing side, Bob is an electrical engineer, and Matt is still studying at school. We have a large extended family, so my house seems to be the gathering point for this, along with the many friends of my son who stay over. We work hard all year, and look forward to our summer vacation to relax and unwind. We tend to travel with family members and possibly a friend with my son – therefore this could amount to 6 people. I have loaned my house out to family before but I have never arranged a house swop, so this is something new and exciting for us. I appreciate my home very much and would respect your home the same way. We do have a small dog which would board with relatives plus a small fish tank, that needs very little looking after. I have extended family within 40 minutes drive who know my house well should you need the support of someone whilst staying - along with neighbours. We are presently looking for a European exchange during school summer holidays July / August 2009 for 2 weeks.
