We are 10 mins on foot from Central Brighton, the pier with funfair, and artist quarter. Three mins walk from large park with a lake and children's playground. You should visit The extraordinary Royal Pavilion, museums and theatre. There is dining for all budgets. Brighton is famous for excellent high street shopping and it's quirky shopping in the old fashioned Brighton Lanes. Perfect for families or couples wanting a place near to the centre of this fabulous city, and still only 50 mins to London by train enabling visits to all London attractions with ease. The beautiful Sussex countryside is also a short hop away - you could be surveying the South of England from the top of a hill in the protected South Downs in less than ten minutes in a car. 40 mins fast train journey from Gatwick to Brighton, and only 4 hours ferry from Dieppe in France. Something about ourselves

My husband is a professional actor, and I am a secondary school teacher. We have two well behaved children who are 15 and 18. We have two cats we would like you to feed (but can arrange something if not possible) We enjoy travelling in our campervan when it is warm but would like to be able to travel elsewhere, including Great Britain, by house swapping, in the school holidays (Feb, April, May, July, August, October, December at set dates). We love France (nice weekend exchanges possible from here) and are keen to visit Germany and Italy as well - although if you like our house and would like an exchange please contact us wherever you are. We love it here in Brighton and are sure you will too! ![]()
