Lovely spacious property, comfortably sleeps 8, set in half an acre. Period features, dating back to the 1300s. Lovely atmosphere. There are 5 bedrooms: 3 doubles (1 with ensuite), 1 large single (with ensuite), 1 attic bedroom, and 1 family bathroom. Large sitting room with wood burning stove. Modern, fully equipped kitchen with island unit (seats 6). Second dining room and second sitting room. Entrance hall, utility and downstairs WC. Large garage, carport and outside parking space. Our home is full of character, yet very functional for a family. It is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK, and we absolutely love living here.

Aylesbeare is a quiet village 8 miles outside of Exeter, and 3 miles from Exeter regional airport. There is a village pub and church, and a twice daily bus service to Exeter. It has the feel of being very much in the countryside, whilst being easily accessible for Exeter and the nearby beaches of Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth, both of which are a 20 minute drive away. We are a professional couple, with 3 lovely daughters. We are active as a family, enjoying running, cycling, swimming and horse riding. We have done a house swap before, which was very successful, together with house swapping with members of our family most summers!
