Our home is a period house with 21st century amenities. The floor area is 8,720 sq ft making a spacious home with a warm and friendly feel. Originally a working watermill, the rooms offer higher ceilings than would normally be found in a building of this age. There is a very large kitchen/dining room, garden room, sitting room and snug, patio and private garden with some beautiful views. There is a river frontage to part of the garden, and we have fishing rights on this stretch of the delightful river Taw.

![]() Our neighborhood
Centrally located as a touring base, there are easy links to Exeter and Barnstaple, and we are midway between Exmoor and Dartmoor. The Taw Valley is recognised as an area of outstanding beauty. We are within easy reach of the North Devon Coast with it's rugged scenery, lovely surfing beaches and quaint fishing villages. Opportunities abound for walking, garden visiting, browsing in markets and village shops, and eating the famous Devon cream teas. Cornwall is accessible by road or the very beautiful South Devon railway. You can see the location by going to http://maps.google.co.uk/maps and typing in Colleton Mills. Something about ourselves
Graham and I have been married for many years and now both our children are married we can be very flexible on dates. We have visited many countries, although this is our first house exchange, and we will look after your home with great care. We love this beautiful area and are looking forward to sharing it with our exchange guests. We have just become grandparents (and one bedroom is set up as a nursery) although our children live in the USA. Travelling is a passion for us, and we are looking forward to house swapping and getting more of a local's view. ![]() ![]()
