We offer a large family house built in 1914 down a private drive with plenty of parking room with friendly and helpful neighbors nearby. We have four bedrooms. Two with double beds. Two with twin single beds and a study with a double sofa bed. There is a large country style kitchen a utility/laundry room plus a dining room and living room with open fires (logs provided). Outside we have a large garden with orchard and swimming pool. Lots of privacy with open countryside views. There is a car you can also use for your stay.

Our home is easy walking distance to the small market hill town of Ripley with lots of restaurants, pubs and shops to explore. It is a Ideal touring base for the peak national park, historic houses like Chatsworth house and Haddon hall plus Sherwood forest all within a short drive. We are centrally located with excellent road rail and air links to the rest of the UK. Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield are all within half an hours drive. Birmingham and Leeds within an hour. We are Jan and Deb married for thirty two years in our late fifties. I work for myself as a Auto electrician, and Deb is in charge of a referral unit for children with specal needs.We have recently had a successfull home exchange with a Australian couple, and looking forward to the next experiance.
