Description of our house

![]() ]
Our home is a traditional converted Cornish barn in the far South West of England with beamed ceilings and a log burner. A 1 hour flight or 4 hour scenic drive from London we are set in an acre of land and have a heated outdoor swimming pool, pool house and pond. We have almost 360 degrees of panoramic countryside views. The area is very safe and weather in Cornwall is generally mild (although this year we did have winter snow). Our home is reverse level to maximise views and shared with Miranda and Lily our tabby cats aged 8 months

This is a quiet rural location within a quaint village yet we are only 10 mins drive from the cathedral city of Truro - cobbled streets, designer shops and olde English pubs of character. There are a variety of safe beaches the closest around 15 minutes away. Local beaches are famous for good surf and enthusiasts visit these from all over the world. Sailing is readily available in Mylor and Falmouth and we have basking shark in the summer off Lands End. The Scilly Isles are also just a 15 minute helicopter ride away. There is much to do locally for adults and children - watch a play in the outdoor Minack Theatre where the auditorium is carved out from the coast line - http://www.minack.com visit the Eden Project - http://www.edenproject.com or great beaches in quaint coastal locations Mousehole, St Ives or Sennan Cove. Take a bike ride or old fashioned steam train along the Camel Valley from Padstow and Bodmin or browse the many art galleries where local artists exhibit - there is much to do for all ages. ![]() Something about ourselves

In our late 50's with adult children and 3 local granddaughters (9, 7 and 3 I work as the CEO for a group of neurological charities in London and was origionally a nurse and health policy adviser by background. We work in London two days each week. We travel extensively and have done several very successful exchanges to date. ![]()
